We know there has been a lot of information flooding your inbox over the past few days about COVID-19 and we do not want to add to the noise, but I did want to personally reach out to let you know our team is here to help and we are taking steps to assist our Partners through this time of need. The impact of COVID-19 is a unique challenge for our community, family and friends. We are all currently processing the uncertainty and anxiety of what we will face in the weeks ahead.

First and foremost, please know that we are here for you. Not surprisingly, we are receiving an influx of calls directly tied with remote work, as well as Partners approaching us for assistance in expanding their remote work readiness. Our team is currently set up so that we can continue to provide uninterrupted IT support remotely to all of our Total Protection Partners. The best approach for remote work will depend on your unique environment so please speak with your Partner Success Manager to discuss your options.

MVP’s number one priority at present is maintaining regular business functions as long as possible while also ensuring the safety of our team and Partners. To that end, we are taking the following steps:

  • Our team is being encouraged to resolve issues remotely wherever possible;
  • As this situation advances, on-site work may be limited based on guidance from public health institutions. We are continuing to schedule on-site work but if you have non-essential service tickets and would prefer to reschedule for the future please let us know and our dispatch team will accommodate you;
  • Any sick employees or employees who have sick family members are being encouraged to stay home. We ask for your patience if this has any impact on scheduling.

Unfortunately, there are always those who attempt to take advantage of people during times of high anxiety. Please be aware of COVID-19 Phishing Scams:

  • Avoid clicking on links in unsolicited emails and be wary of email attachments
  • Use trusted sources—such as legitimate, government websites—for up-to-date, fact-based information about COVID-19.
  • Do not reveal personal or financial information in email, and do not respond to email solicitations for this information.
  • Verify a charity’s authenticity before making donations. Review the Federal Trade Commission’s page on Charity Scams for more information.

Please note: Because many manufacturing and supply chains are shut down or otherwise disrupted, it may become difficult to procure new computers and other IT equipment in the coming weeks. If you have any new hires on the horizon or other IT purchases in mind that we’re not aware of, please let us know so we can have plenty of lead time to order the equipment.

We recognize this is a unique challenge, and we are committed to assisting our Partners any way we can. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any member of the MVP team.

Best regards,

Ikram Massabini
